These results mean MHIAA outperformed all other brands across most categories measured by Canstar research.

What Australians Told Canstar Blue 

The Canstar Blue 2025 research surveyed over 3,000 Australians, with 23% having purchased and installed an air conditioner in the past three years – representing 665 respondents.  

Key findings revealed: 

  • A broad and loyal customer base across Australia, with particularly high ownership in Queensland where the climate drives higher demand for quality air-conditioning 
  • Balanced 50/50 gender split demonstrating that purchasing decisions about air-conditioning are made evenly across households 
  • 51% of respondents said that third-party endorsements, such as Canstar Blue’s recognition, make it much easier to decide on an air conditioner purchase.
